Retreat Weekend: Rest & Refresh

When was the last time you truly stepped away from the noise to hear the whisper of God?

Just as Jesus often withdrew from the crowds to seek the presence of his Heavenly Father, we invite you to join us for “Catching the Wind,” a weekend retreat at Fellowship Afloat this November.

Much like a sailor depends on the wind to journey, we are called to depend on the Holy Spirit to guide our path. This retreat is designed to mirror those moments of holy withdrawal, offering you a space to find calm and unhurried preparation.

Throughout the weekend, we will explore:

  • Navigating with Purpose: By seeking the Father’s heart, we will prepare to return to our home communities as beacons of light, carrying the momentum of this retreat into our daily lives.
  • Listening to the Spirit’s Voice: Through teaching and contemplative prayer stations, we will explore distinguishing the Spirit’s lead from our own internal voice.
  • Responding to the Call: Just as we adjust our sails when the wind picks up, we will learn to increase the depth and intensity of our prayer as we become more aware of God’s presence.

The weekend will be led by Rev. Chris Brown and facilitated by our team. Spaces can be booked from £175, with accommodation & food all included; and the option to upgrade to a single ensuite cabin for an additional £25 (subject to availability).

The next retreat weekend will be 27-29 November 2026. For more information contact the office, or to provisionally book please complete the form below.
