Archery GB Instructor Award

The Archery GB Instructor Award is an entry-level training course. It prepares you to deliver fun, safe sessions for beginners.

This two day course includes practical sessions, as well as theory, to prepare for a short practical assessment at the end.

The course involves:

  • Shooting arrows
  • Delivering mini sessions
  • Selecting equipment
  • Setting up a range
  • Designing Games

To take part in the course you need no previous archery experience but you do need to be 17 years old or above. 

Once you have completed the course, you will be able to lead archery sessions confidently to beginners of all ages; in leisure, recreation or educational environments. 

The course is available as residential or non-residential as listed below. Lunches are included.
