Hannah Brathwaite, centre instructor. Hannah has just done her A-levels and is taking a gap year before going to university to study Psychology. When not on the water she enjoys drama, acting and music. Hannah is working towards her dinghy instructors and holds an archery award.

Becky Cross, lead instructor. A full time member of the team, Becky has just finished her degree in Sport & Exercise Science at Brighton University, and recently sailed around Britain in a 21ft yacht. Becky is a RYA Senior Instructor (Dinghy) & Powerboat Instructor. She also holds archery and climbing tickets. |

Harry Darrah, centre instructor. Harry is taking a gap year before going to university, having recently completed a diploma in sports science. Harry enjoys every sport going, particularly rugby and sailing. As well as being a keen sailor, Harry has his powerboat level 2. |

Andrew Eastham,
operations director /principal. Andrew looks after the staff team and ensures that courses and group programmes go to plan. He's I/C of all the centre's activities programme and its development. He's an RYA Coach/Assessor, Powerboat Trainer, First Aid Trainer and holds an ECC Climbing Wall & GNAS Archery Supervisor Award. |

Stephen Evans, centre instructor. Stephen has just finished his A-levels and joins us for a year before going on to university to study acoustic engineering at Southampton. As well as sailing he enjoys cycling and music, playing a range of instruments.

David Hillyer, centre director. David looks after the running of the trust. David's priorities are admin, financial management, safety procedures, legislation, development, projects and fund raising. He's a magistrate, and in his spare time chairs a local respite care trust.

Mary Hope, administrator. Mary works in the office and looks after the booking admin, correspondence, accounting and lots more. She and her family, who lived in Tollesbury, have been involved with FACT for 20 years. |

Tom Johnston, centre instructor. Tom joined the team initially to work on the Plain Kate refurbishment. Having enjoyed spending time down on the marsh he has decided to have a break from the construction industry - Tom has hung up his tools for his sailing kit. Tom will be involved with some of the main-tenance. |

Matt Knell, centre instructor. Matt is taking a gap year before his next step, which may be going into overseas mission work. When not sailing he also enjoys, windsurfing, playing his guitar and socialising. Matt holds a archery award and his Powerboat level 2.

Katie Middleton, centre instructor. Katie joins the team after completing her A-levels for a year before going on to read marine biology at Bangor. While not on the water she also enjoys photography and being outdoors. Katie holds a archery Award.

Pip Nunns, lead instructor. Pippa studied Philosophy and Theology before deciding to get out of the library and back into a boat. She loves the outdoors and working alongside people. Pippa takes a lead on the volunteer side of things as well as being fully involved with our activities. She holds a RYA senior instructor & safety boat award and is qualified in climbing and archery too.

Anna White, lead instructor. A full time member of the team, Anna joined FACT after completing a political and social sciences degree at Bangor Uni. She's a keen environmentalist and heads up the educational & youth work elements of our programme. Anna is a qualified RYA dinghy senior instructor, powerboat instructor, safety boat driver, archery (GNAS) & climbing instructor.

Lianne Woodyard, deputy administrator. Lianne has rejoined the team for the rest of the year before going into teaching full time, having recently qualified as a primary school teacher. Lianne works closely with Mary in ensure all the day to day administration goes smoothly. |

Mark Woodyard, head chef. There's more to FACT than messing about in boats, oh yes. We do pukka grub and lots of it! Mark, an experienced chef with a degree in hospitality studies, is the man who makes it happen. In his spare time Mark is a keen footballer.
