Below are a few common problems people have found using the site.

| 1. | I don't have a PayPal account and would rather not use my card details online? |
| I you can't or would rather not use your card to make a payment on the site feel free to contact the office on 01621 868 113 and speak to the office team. | |
| 2. | I've clicked on the 'Pay Now' button but nothing seems to happen? |
| When you click on the 'Pay Now' button information is sent to PayPal which then loads a new page. Depending on the size of you basket, and the speed of your internet connection, this can take up to a minute. The button should require only one click, clicking more than once is not detrimental to your basket's contents but it will start the sending process again potentially delaying it each time. If a new page has not loaded within a minute try clicking the 'Pay Now' option again, if this is still not successful please use the 'Contact Us' page and we will sort your order out manually. |

| 3. | Delivery? |
| We aim to deliver you cards within 3 days. This may take longer around holidays periods as less people will be in the office. When we have sent your cards we will send a delivery notice via email to let you know they are on the way. |

| 4. | I can't put items into my basket? |
| The Bursary Gift Shop site uses javascript to enter items to your basket, if you do not have javascript enabled or are not sure please see section 6. If you are still experiencing problems please make sure that you are dragging the items to the basket image at the top of the page. Sometimes the page may interpret your move as a miss and not add it to your basket, if this happens just try again until the number in the basket has changed. When you click and hold an item a translucent image of that item should appear. This you can directly drag towards the basket (if you cannot see the basket image the page will automatically scroll up) and can then be dropped (unclicked) once over the basket. |

| 5. | When I save my basket why do the 'Recipient's Details' and 'Message' information get separated by commas? |
| To make sure that the information is sent through to Paypal correctly any character returns (new lines) are converted into commas, this prevents problems from occurring when the page is saved or it goes through to PayPal. If you would like to add further information into these boxes simply enter the information normally, either using commas as a separator or by using character returns, as the site will understand and convert both. |

| 6. | When I try to change my order or use the site I can't change details/or details disappear? |
| The site requires javascript to run properly, please check that your browser allows the use of javascipt. If you see an 'X' in the following parenthesis then your browser is using javascript [
], if you do not see an 'X' please refer to your browsers help guide. If you did see an 'X' and the problem is still occurring try refreshing the page and then allowing it to load fully. Failing that try again in an hours time as this is when our system restarts itself. If this does not sort your problem please contact us, detailing the error so that we can try to fix it, and we can contact you to sort out your order manually. |
