This two day course is for candidates who are competent to the Level 2 standard.
The course introduces the techniques and skills required to provide dinghy instructors, club race officers, club safety boat drivers the skills required to assist, tow and recover a range of small craft (dinghies, windsurfers, canoes, kite surfers etc.) and their crews. Also covered is mark laying, race management, towing, safety boat positioning and other related topics.
It is recommended candidates hold a first aid certificate. The ratio of students to instructors will not exceed 6:1 (using two boats). The minimum age is 16 yrs.
