This two day course can be taken after completing the RYA Level 2 course with a coastal endorsement.
The course introduces the techniques and skills required to plan and complete coastal passages by day and to develop new boat handling skills. The course will involve both planning and executing a coastal trip using both traditional and GPS techniques.
It is strongly recommended candidates hold a first aid certificate and a VHF operator's certificate.
The ratio of students to instructors will not exceed 6:1 (using two boats).
