Powerboating

We have a number of powered safety boats to support sailing, which is our main activity. However, we find that certain groups and certain conditions make powerboating – as an activity in itself – an appropriate option.

When we are not sailing during the winter, youth groups and conserevation groups alike enjoy exploring the estuary. School groups gain access to a range of environments to study, coupled with the fun of riding in powerboats.

People from special needs groups especially enjoy these trips: they build up self-confidence and it is a valuable contribution to their social development.

Fellowship Afloat is a Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Training Centre (tel 0845 345 0400) - the UK Governing Body for sail training.

I would like to enquire further about powerboating at FACT.
